    Day 1: ARRIVE DELHI

    Arrive Delhi at international airport and transfer to hotel in Delhi.

    Delhi, city and national capital territory, north-central India. The city of Delhi actually consists of two components: Old Delhi, in the north, the historic city; and New Delhi, in the south, since 1947 the capital of India, built in the first part of the 20th century as the capital of British India. One of the country’s largest urban agglomerations, Delhi sits astride (but primarily on the west bank of) the Yamuna River, a tributary of the Ganges (Ganga) River, about 100 miles (160 km) south of the Himalayas. The national capital territory embraces Old and New Delhi and the surrounding metropolitan region, as well as adjacent rural areas. To the east the territory is bounded by the state of Uttar Pradesh, and to the north, west, and south it is bounded by the state of Haryana.

    Day 2: IN DELHI

    After breakfast Morning sightseeing of Old Delhi takes you to the magnificent Red Fort.

    Drive past Red Fort - a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River Yamuna by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Visit Raj Ghat (memorial to Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid, - The largest

    mosque in India. A cycle rickshaw rides through Chandni Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city.

    Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi, visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved for its entire height of 234ft, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time and not rusted even after 1500 years, the mausoleum of emperor Humayun. Drive past India Gate (memorial to the Indian army soldiers who died in the World War I) the

    Rashtrapati Bhavan (formerly the viceroy's residence) the Parliament House and Gandhi Memorial – Situated on Tees January Road, this place was formerly known as Birla House or Birla Bhavan. It is a museum dedicated to Gandhi. This is where he spent the last 144 days of his life, before he was assassinated on 30 January, 1948.

    Day 3: DELHI – JAIPUR (265 KMS/6 Hours)

    After breakfast drive towards Jaipur.

    Jaipur founded in AD 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the Pink City. With broad avenues and spacious gardens, the city is steeped in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where once lived the maharajas.

    Day 4: JAIPUR

    Morning after breakfast you will visit the Amber fort nestling among Aravalli Hills built in 16th century by Raja Man Singh, enjoy an optional elephant ride at Amber fort subject to additional charges, then visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace) & Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds- it is the Jaipur’s most famous monument.

    In the afternoon you will visit the City Palace and Museum, City Palace-conceived and designed by Jai Singh is a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and is one of the most important architectural landmarks in Jaipur. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory.

    Day 5: JAIPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA (245 KMS/ 5-6 Hours)

    After breakfast drive to Agra – Mughal city. En-route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. After visit, continue drive towards Agra.

    Agra – Known for its world-famous monument and memoir of everlasting love, The Taj stands right inside the heart of Agra. Silently standing on the ever-flowing waters of the river Yamuna, Taj reminds every one of the glory, charisma and the love for life carved strongly in the heart of the Mughal emperor, shah Jahan. The architectural importance of all monuments like Taj, Agra Fort and other tombs is so much so that travellers keep coming over here again and again. In addition to the architectural wonders, this city is famous for its crowded markets, roadside stalls where one can find local chicken clothing, small replicas of Taj Mahal and other notable stuff.     Day 6: AGRA – DELHI – DEHRADUN BY FLIGHT (Dep. At 1810/ Arrival at 19.10) + RISHIKESH DRIVE

    Visit the world- famous Taj Mahal built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The architecture marvel is perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stand testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen brought together from Persia, Turkey, France, and Italy and who took 17 years to complete this ‘Love poem in Marble’.

    After breakfast at Hotel – Visit Agra Fort, built alongside the Yamuna River stretching almost 2.5 km. The fort’s colossal double walls rise 20 m in height and measure 2.5 km in circumference. The fort is surrounded by a moat. The lofty battlements of the Agra Fort cast its protective shadow over the far stretching mansions of nobles and princes built along the riverfront.

    Later drive towards Delhi airport to connect your flight to Dehradun. On arrival, assistance, and transfer to Rishikesh by surface.

    Rishikesh, the 'place of the sages' is a celebrated spiritual town located on the banks of the Ganga. Surrounded by Shivaik range of Himalayas on three sides, it holds a deep cultural and spiritual significance for its visitors. It is believed that when Raibhya Rishi undertook rigorous penance, God appeared in the form of “Hrishikesh” and henceforth this area came to be known as Rishikesh.
    It is the starting point for the Hindu Char Dham pilgrimage, including Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, to seek spiritual salvation. Rishikesh is an ideal destination not only for pilgrims but also for those who want to delve deeper into spirituality, yoga and other aspects of ancient practices.
