  SAFARI DRIVE EXPERIENCE INCLUDED

  • The Drive’s Outline: Set out to spot the Big Five in their natural habitat. Note that there is no guarantee of observing them on every outing. Note that the duration of a safari drive is variable.
  • Comfort & Services: Drinking water available throughout the drive. One stop included with breakfast – coffee, tea, snacks (morning drive) or aperitif service (sundowners).
  • Vehicles & Safety: 10 pax per vehicle. Open-air elevated off-road vehicles. First aid kit available in every vehicle.
  • Guides: English-speaking driver guides and trackers. Trained to follow ABTA animal welfare and wildlife viewing guidelines. Personalized explanations about local fauna and flora.

  LODGE FOR THE SAFARI

  The Lodge is located 5.5 hours by bus or 45 minutes by plane from Durban airport.

  Safari trips will be offered early in the morning at sunrise and in the late afternoon at sunset. During the rest of the day, guests can enjoy the Lodge’s facilities and activities.

  • Common areas: a natural main pool, restaurant, bar, and kids’ facilities.
  • 60 family accommodations (including connecting rooms).
  • Adult-only area: 15 adult accommodations, relaxation area, and jacuzzi.
  • It is exclusively dedicated to Club Med guests.

  Note: Children under 4 years old are not allowed to stay at the Lodge.
